All preschool classes run from Labor Day through Memorial Day, with breaks for Thanksgiving, winter holidays, and spring break. Shaker Forest School follows the Shaker Schools calendar in regard to days off. We are open during all weather, only canceling or restricting class hours for safety reasons (e.g., less than 16ºF or lightning).

Classes are led by experienced early childhood educators who are certified in CPR and First Aid and trained in outdoor risk management. Classes will be capped at 1 1 students with a teacher:child ratio of 1:6.

Parent & Me Forest Explorers

Mondays, 10:30am-12pm, 6-week sessions in Fall and Spring

Ages 1-3.5 with a Caregiver

Cost is $125.

There are two spring 2026 sessions of our Parent & Me Forest Explorers class: Fridays 4/10, 4/17, 4/24, 5/1, 5/8, 5/15 OR Mondays 4/13, 4/20, 4/27, 5/4, 5/11, 5/18.
