All classes run from Labor Day through Memorial Day, with breaks for Thanksgiving, winter holidays and spring break. Shaker Forest School will follow the Shaker Schools calendar in regard to days off. The forest school will be open during all weather, only canceling for safety reasons (e.g., less than 16ºF or lightning). Classes will be led by experienced early childhood educators who are certified in CPR and First Aid and trained in outdoor risk management. Classes will be capped at 1 1 students with a teacher:child ratio of 1:6.
